Meet Katie
I spent most of my 20’s working sedentary jobs in offices, and fitness became a much-needed outlet for me. I found that staying active noticeably affected my physical and mental health. I could actually perform my work better on days when I made time for exercise!
In 2017, I became a certified personal trainer to help others find the same healthy balance in their lives.
It’s really rewarding to see training clients improve their strength, mobility and physical health – not to mention their energy level and mental well-being!
I work with clients in Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg and Carlisle.
My husband, Kurt, and I live in Camp Hill with our cat and dog.

What is Functional Fitness?
Functional fitness prepares you for everyday or athletic activities and helps you to enjoy an overall better quality of life. It is an approach that trains you to be strong in different movement patterns and planes of motion which will help equip your body for almost anything!
Sessions include multiple important movements – such as squat, hinge, pull, push, rotate and stabilize – while challenging the body in different planes of motion – forward, backward, rotational and lateral.
Sessions are a blend of strength and cardio training designed with your abilities and goals in mind.
Equipment like resistance bands, dumbbells, exercise steps, and the BOSU balance trainer require more body awareness and control than stationary machines. This equipment allows for endless, creative combinations of exercises!
